The new Constitution of Kazakhstan obliges non-profit organisations receiving foreign funding to disclose data on the movement of funds and assets. A court in Astana has found a man guilty of stalking his ex-wife. According to the Astana city prosecutor's office, he pursued the woman for several years, unlawfully entered her flat, and posed a threat to her safety. The court sentenced him to 100 hours of community service, emphasising criminal liability for unlawful harassment.

In Kyrgyzstan, former deputy Shairbek Tashiev has been detained on suspicion of corruption linked to the activities of OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz". The case was opened based on materials from the tax service and an audit, and the suspect has been placed in the Bishkek Temporary Detention Facility. The event comes amid personnel changes and previously recorded arrests of officials in anti-corruption cases.

In Almaty, a court found a former police investigator guilty of deliberately failing to register 14 crimes, thereby violating the procedure for recording criminal offences. His actions were classified under part 2 of Article 433 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The court sentenced him to 2 years of restricted freedom, a 3-year ban from public service, and stripped him of his special rank of "police lieutenant".
