The device mimicked mobile base stations and allowed the group to bypass operators’ security, directing users to fake websites to collect personal and banking details. Four suspects have been detained, and the investigation is ongoing.

A court in the North Kazakhstan Region has found former colony settlement head Rustem Rakhmetov guilty of fraud and incitement to bribery. According to the investigation, he offered a convicted person assistance in getting a lighter sentence in exchange for money, without having the ability to influence the court's decision. He was fined 3 million tenge and given a lifetime ban from civil service; the verdict has not yet entered into legal force.

In Aktobe, a fire broke out on the roof of the regional akimat building. Rescuers arrived at the scene within five minutes and discovered several seats of fire. The fire was contained and completely extinguished over an area of approximately 300 square metres, with no casualties. More than 140 people and dozens of pieces of equipment took part in extinguishing the blaze. The causes of the fire are being established, and akimat employees have been temporarily moved to remote working arrangements.

A fire at a solid household waste landfill in Atyrau has been fully extinguished. The blaze was contained within the site, with no threats to the population or infrastructure recorded.

In Almaty, the Financial Monitoring Agency has completed its investigation into the financial pyramid scheme ‘NBC TV’. According to the investigation, in 2025 the suspect recruited citizens via an internet platform and messaging apps, promising income for watching videos. Participants' funds were converted into cryptocurrency and sent to anonymous wallets. The court authorised the seizure of assets worth approximately $1.06 million (1,057,599 USDT). The case has been referred to court.

In Pavlodar Region, the prosecutor's office has identified more than twenty illegal landfills in the Akkuly district. A lack of environmental permits and waste control systems was established. For violations of environmental requirements, the akims of eight rural districts were brought to administrative responsibility, who paid fines totalling 1.7 million tenge.

Employees of the SOBR unit of the Atyrau region have complained about their management, citing instances of insults and use of force. The appeal has been sent to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Yerzhan Sadenov, and to the internal security service. The police have confirmed one incident of disciplinary violation and have launched an investigation. A video has also circulated on social media allegedly depicting scenes of the conflict, though its authenticity has not been officially confirmed.

The Main Transport Prosecutor's Office has reported the identification of instances of cold weapon advertising being placed on internet platforms. Following the inspection, one of the marketplaces has been held administratively liable.
