The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has initiated an inspection of the development of the educational game Steppe Rider, for which 239 million 888 thousand tenge were allocated from the budget. The inspection is being carried out by the National Security Committee (NSC) and the Department of Economic Investigations (DEI) for Astana.

Patients of the Republican Psychiatric Hospital of a specialised type with intensive observation (RPB STIN) in the village of Aktas, Almaty Region, have alleged cruel treatment, forced labour, and the use of medication as punishment. The Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan has put three Russian citizens on the wanted list — Semyon Uralov, Ivan Knyazev and Alexei Chadayev. They have been named as defendants in a criminal case concerning public calls for terrorism, calls against the state and incitement of national hatred and enmity.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported a technical failure in the "ERAP" information system of the Prosecutor General's Office, due to which some fines for average speed violations were mistakenly issued as exceeding the instantaneous speed. The department stated that such orders have already been identified and will be cancelled automatically.

A house in Shymkent linked to the former owner of the Shymkent Brewery, Tokhtar Tuleshov, has been put up for auction with a starting price of 240.2 million tenge. The bidding is scheduled for 27 August 2026.
