In Almaty, residents have opposed the construction of the RAMS Beyond Almaty residential complex and sent a collective appeal to the city's akimat. In the petition, the citizens demand the cancellation of the project and that the site at the intersection of Seifullin and Timiryazev streets be turned into a park area.

The theft during the construction of multi-storey buildings is being investigated in the Zhetysu region.
