The government has decided to allocate 319.5 million tenge from the Special State Fund to complete the construction of two medical outpatient clinics in the Korday and Talas districts of the Zhambyl region.
According to the press service of the department, the facilities are being built under the «Rural Healthcare Modernisation» programme. The region has plans to build 30 facilities, 28 of which have already been commissioned. The remaining two have been promised to be brought into use this year.
It is noted that under the national project, the country plans to build 655 new facilities – medical and midwifery points, and medical outpatient clinics. Work has currently been completed on 468 facilities.
Recall, funds returned to Kazakhstan as part of the fight against the illegal removal of assets are credited to the Special State Fund, from where they are directed to social needs, including the construction of schools, hospitals and infrastructure modernisation.
In January it was reported that returned assets would be used to build a sports complex in the village of Zhalagash in the Kegen district of the Almaty region at a cost of 1.1 billion tenge.
In early February, the government allocated more than 1.4 billion tenge from the fund for the construction of a school in the city of Karazhal, Ulytau region. Later, it became known about the allocation of another 1.4 billion tenge for the construction of a school in the village of Koksay, Kerbulak district, Zhetysu region.
Also, 2.6 billion tenge was allocated from the fund for the construction of a Centre for the Provision of Special Social Services in Semey. The list of financed projects included the construction of the stadium named after Kazhymukan Munaitpasov in Astana.
In early March, the government directed about 4.2 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction and modernisation of water supply systems in the Aral district of the Kyzylorda region.
In April, the government decided to allocate 1 billion tenge from the Special State Fund to provide water supply for residents of the towns of Kosshy and Makinsk in the Akmola region.
