The government has allocated around 4.2 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction and modernisation of water supply systems in the Aral District of the Kyzylorda Region.
"To ensure a centralised water supply to the villages of Tokabay and Abai, with a population of over 3,000 people, construction is underway on a branch connecting to the Aralsk-Tokabay-Abai mainline of the Aral-Sarybulak group water pipeline", the press service of the department reported.
It has been revealed that the project began implementation in 2021. Currently, an additional approximately 3.7 billion tenge is required for its completion. The facility is planned to be commissioned by the end of 2025.
Thus, in the village of Akbasty, construction of a branch connecting to the Kosman-Akbasty mainline of the Aral-Sarybulak group water pipeline is being completed. The project cost is around 2.4 billion tenge, of which 1.8 billion tenge has already been spent. The remaining 524 million tenge was allocated from the Special State Fund.
For context, in October 2024 it was reported that around 3 billion tenge was planned to be allocated from the Special State Fund for the construction of a sports complex in the village of Zerenda, Akmola Region, and a music school in the village of Temirlan in the Turkestan Region.
At the same time, Kazakhstan began implementing social projects using the 12 billion tenge returned to the state. One such project is the construction of a centre for modern culture in Almaty.
In November, it was reported that the government planned to allocate 7.8 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of a kindergarten for children with special needs in Aktobe. Later, more than 28 billion tenge was allocated from this fund to complete the construction of a multi-purpose hospital complex in Ridder.
In December, the government decided to allocate over 2 billion tenge from it for the construction of a kindergarten with 280 places in Petropavlovsk.
In January this year, it was reported that using returned assets, plans were made to build a sports complex in the village of Zhalagash, Kegen District in the Almaty Region, costing 1.1 billion tenge.
In early February, the government allocated more than 1.4 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of a school in the city of Karazhal, Ulytau Region.
Later, it became known that the government had allocated 1.4 billion tenge from returned assets for the construction of a school in the village of Koksay, Kerbulak District in the Zhetysu Region.
It was also reported that 2.6 billion tenge was allocated from the fund for the construction of a Special Social Services Centre in Semey. At the same time, the list of projects financed by the Special State Fund included the construction of the Kazhymukan Munaitpasov Stadium in Astana.
