The government has allocated more than 1.4 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of a school in the city of Karazhal, Ulytau Region.
According to the press service of the department, the educational facility for 80 pupils will be built in the 'Vokzalny' microdistrict. At present, most local children are forced to study in other parts of the city.
"The construction of the new educational institution will create comfortable conditions for children's learning in line with modern requirements and improve access to education", the statement reads.
It is noted that to date, around 56.6 billion tenge has been allocated from the Special State Fund for the construction of socially significant facilities.
"These include schools – in the villages of Zhamansor in Atyrau Region, Rudnichny and Koksay in Zhetysu Region, a music school – in the village of Temirlan in Turkestan Region, a sports complex in the villages of Zerenda and Zhalagash in Akmola and Almaty Regions, a multi-functional hospital complex in Ridder, a dormitory in Shymkent, two kindergartens in Aktobe and Petropavlovsk, as well as an ambulance station in the Mangystau region", the statement reads.
It should be recalled that in October 2024, it was reported that the construction of a sports complex in the village of Zerenda, Akmola Region, and a music school in the village of Temirlan, Turkestan Region, was planned to be funded from the Special State Fund with about 3 billion tenge.
At the same time, Kazakhstan has begun implementing social projects using 12 billion tenge returned to the state. One such project is the construction of a centre for modern culture in Almaty.
In November, it was reported that the government planned to allocate 7.8 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of a kindergarten for children with special needs in Aktobe.
Later, more than 28 billion tenge was allocated from this fund for the completion of the multi-profile hospital complex in Ridder.
In December, the government decided to allocate over 2 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of a kindergarten for 280 children in Petropavlovsk.
In January of this year, 1.1 billion tenge was allocated from the Special State Fund for the construction of a sports complex in the village of Zhalagash, Kegen District, Almaty Region.
