In the Pavlodar region, three employees of the Aksu Ferroalloy Plant — a branch of JSC «TNC «Kazchrome» (Eurasian Resources Group) — sustained thermal burns while carrying out work.
According to the press service of the plant, the injured were taken to the city's central hospital. One of them is in intensive care, the second is receiving inpatient treatment, and the third is being treated as an outpatient.
The incident was reported to state authorities, and an investigation has been launched. It is reported that the company is providing the necessary assistance to the employees.
Recall that in May, in the production block of the «Bolashak» mine at the Donskoy Ore Mining and Processing Plant (GOK) — a branch of the same holding in the Aktobe region — a brief ignition of the air environment occurred. Three employees were injured, two of whom were hospitalised in intensive care in a serious condition.
No new information about the condition of those injured in the May accident has been published. However, at the beginning of August, the press service of «TNC Kazchrome» reported that work had resumed at the «Bolashak» mine.
