Employees of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan extradited a citizen of Kazakhstan from the Russian Federation, who is suspected of the murder of a Pavlodar entrepreneur

According to the press service of the department, on 21 February of this year, the victim went to work and stopped making contact. Relatives reported his disappearance, and the man was declared missing.

As the investigation established, on the same day in Pavlodar, the businessman met with the suspect in the courtyard of his residential building.

According to preliminary data, a conflict arose between them over financial matters. During the argument, the suspect inflicted 22 stab wounds on the entrepreneur's chest and face. The man died at the scene from his injuries.

In order to cover up the traces of the crime, the suspect hid the victim's body and his car in his garage, then left the territory of Kazakhstan. In March of this year, he was detained in the Russian Federation and extradited to his homeland at the request of the General Prosecutor's Office.

Currently, the suspect has been placed in a pre-trial detention centre. He is charged with a crime for which the legislation provides for a punishment of imprisonment for a term of 8 to 15 years

Recall that earlier the General Prosecutor's Office reported on the extradition of a citizen of Kazakhstan from the Republic of Lithuania. The man had been on the international wanted list for 17 years on suspicion of murder and illegal possession of firearms.
