Four citizens of Kazakhstan, suspected of committing terrorist crimes, have been brought back to the country from abroad. The operation was carried out with the involvement of special forces from the National Security Committee (NSC).
HOW THE OPERATION UNFOLDED
According to the press service of the NSC, on 7 and 12 May 2026, four citizens were brought to the Motherland under escort by NSC special forces from foreign states.
The department reported that the individuals in question had been hiding abroad for a long time. They were detained based on information provided by the NSC.
WHAT THE DETAINEES ARE SUSPECTED OF
The suspects are being investigated in connection with terrorist crimes. Investigative actions are being carried out against them as part of the relevant criminal cases.
No other information is subject to disclosure in accordance with Part 1 of Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
