The specialised environmental prosecutor's office has identified violations in the work of the State Institution ‘State Forest Nature Reserve ‘Semey Ormany’ of the Abai Region’.
According to the press service of the agency, the institution did not fully submit tax information for 2024. Due to the failure to provide information, taxes exceeding 200 million tenge did not reach the budget.
After the inspection, the debt was paid in full. The supervisory authority reported that work in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources continues.
Recall that in November last year, for a fire in ‘Semey Ormany’, which resulted in the deaths of 14 employees of the forest reserve, the acting general director of ‘Kazavialesookhrana’ Talgat Aliev was convicted.
The court ordered him to pay the Ministry of Ecology the amount of damage from the fire in the amount of 161.5 billion tenge. He must also pay a state duty in the amount of 4.8 billion tenge.
