The Almaty Prosecutor's Office returned 100% of the shares of JSC "832 Auto Repair Plant KI" to state ownership.
According to the press service of the department, in 2017, the sole shareholder of JSC "832 Auto Repair Plant KI", having undervalued the assets by 310 million tenge, sold it to a legal entity.
"By decision of the specialised inter-district economic court of Almaty dated 27/05/2024, the prosecutor's office's claim to invalidate the transaction was granted", the statement reads.
As a result, a building with an area of 2.5 thousand m2 and 1.87 hectares of land were returned to the state.
In turn, vlast.kz reports that the sole shareholder of the plant is JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering", which is owned by JSC "NWF "Samruk-Kazyna".
On the Samruk-Kazyna website, it is reported that the plant produced defence and civilian products, as well as repairing automotive and tracked vehicles.
