The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market (ARDFM) has identified violations in the activities of the joint-stock companies «Nurbank» and «Bereke Bank».
According to the Telegram channel «Nege.Aqsha», «Nurbank» failed to provide the Agency for Financial Monitoring (AFM) with data subject to mandatory monitoring. As a result, the bank was fined an amount of 14.4 million tenge.
At the same time, violations were identified in the actions of «Bereke Bank» related to compliance with the requirements of Articles 45-1 («Supervisory Response Measures») and 46 («Measures to Improve Financial Condition and Minimise Risks») of the Law «On Banks and Banking Activity».
Unlike «Nurbank», «Bereke Bank» got off with a written order to eliminate the violations.
It will be recalled that in February last year, the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan fined «Bank Freedom Finance Kazakhstan» 55,380 tenge. This penalty was imposed due to the bank's non-compliance with the requirements of currency legislation.
