The Prosecutor's Office of the Nura District of the Karaganda Region has identified an unused agricultural plot of land measuring 46,271 hectares.
According to the press service of the department, the cadastral value of the land exceeded 258 million tenge. It emerged that the plot had not been used for its intended purpose for a long time.
"As a result of the measures taken, the plot has been returned to state ownership. It will now be transferred to bona fide users who can use it effectively for agricultural development," the statement said.
Recall that earlier it was reported that in 2024, executive bodies in Kazakhstan returned over 2 million hectares of land to state ownership.
In June, it became known that prosecutors in the Almaty region returned 155 plots of unused land covering 12,500 hectares and valued at 2.5 billion tenge to state ownership.
In August, it was reported that in the Aktobe region, agricultural land plots covering 30,000 hectares were returned to state ownership.
In early September, during a government meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin stated that this year, 1.3 million hectares of the planned 2 million hectares of unused or illegally issued agricultural land had been returned to the state.
Later, in the Kostanay region, a land plot measuring 15 hectares with an estimated value of over 254 million tenge was returned to the state.
