The Land Management Department of Astana carried out an unscheduled inspection of an LLP regarding the prolonged non-use of a land plot.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture, the area of the plot intended for agricultural use is 6.4862 hectares.

“As a result of the inspection, the fact of a violation of Article 92 of the Land Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan was confirmed. By a ruling of the judicial panel for civil cases of the court of Astana, the department’s claim was satisfied, and the court decision has entered into legal force,” the statement said.

It will be recalled that in early September, during a government meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin stated that this year, of the planned 2 million hectares, 1.3 million hectares of unused or illegally issued agricultural land had been returned to the state.

In August, it was reported that in the Aktobe region, agricultural land plots covering 30,000 hectares were returned to state ownership.

In June, it became known that this year, prosecutors in the Almaty region returned to state ownership 155 plots of unused land covering an area of 12,500 hectares and valued at 2.5 billion tenge.
