In the Kazybek Bi District Court of Karaganda, a sentence was passed on the head of the regional specialised youth Olympic reserve school "Zhasstar" for football, Balgabay Nurlanov.
According to the press service of the Anti-Corruption Agency, he was found guilty of embezzling budget funds totalling more than 3 million tenge through the fictitious organisation of training camps.
Nurlanov was sentenced to 2 years in prison with a lifelong ban on holding positions in the civil service, judicial bodies and local government bodies.
Recall that earlier, the court in Aktobe examined the criminal case of two former heads of youth sports schools (YSS), who were found guilty of misappropriating funds from the illegal rental of a sports facility.
