In the Zhambyl region, the case regarding the embezzlement of 7 million tenge by the chief accountant of a sports school has been dropped.
According to Informburo.kz, the chief accountant of Children's and Youth Sports School No. 15 was a suspect in the misappropriation of budget funds.
It is reported that she recorded the money as overpaid salaries, holiday pay, and travel expenses.
The funds were returned to the state, and the criminal case was closed on non-rehabilitating grounds.

For reference: non-rehabilitating grounds allow for a person to be released from criminal liability under certain circumstances, but that person is considered to have committed the crime.
The regional Anti-Corruption Service added that it is now impossible to enter false personal data of employees into payment documents in all sports organisations.
"A block has been introduced when the name and individual identification number do not match. Unjustified repeat salary payments within a month are not allowed, and advance payments exceeding 50% of the official salary are prohibited", the department reported.
Recall that in June, it became known that the chief accountant of the Shymkent Medical and Sports Dispensary of the city's Department of Physical Culture and Sports was issuing unjustifiably inflated salaries to herself and a number of employees. Over two years, employees of the institution were overpaid 22,218,531 tenge.
In September in Astana, a former head of the Republican State Enterprise "Directorate for Sports Development," Samat Yergaliyev, was convicted of abusing his official powers. The damage from his actions amounted to 113 million tenge.
Later, prosecutors uncovered embezzlement during a check of the legality of spending budget funds at the centre for national sports in the Mangistau region. It was reported that from 2018 to 2023, the institution's chief accountant illegally misappropriated budget funds totalling 117 million tenge.
