The Anti-Corruption Service has detained the head of the Department for Land Resource Management (DULRM) of the Turkistan Region.
According to the press service of the agency, the official is suspected of receiving a bribe of 1 million tenge from a resident of Turkistan. The bribe was intended for assistance in processing state acts for land plots.
With the sanction of the court on 28 June of this year, the suspect was taken into custody. Other information is not disclosed in the interests of the investigation.
Earlier, employees of the Anti-Corruption Service of the Almaty Region detained the head of the local Department of State Property and Privatisation. He is suspected of fraud in the sphere of land relations amounting to more than 750 million tenge.
