A cottage confiscated from former Qazaq Banki shareholder Bakhyt Ibragimov has been put up for sale for 380 million tenge.
The listing states that the two-storey house, built in 2003 with a total area of 272.5 sq m, is in poor condition.

According to the Telegram channel Nege.Aqsha, the property was confiscated in November 2020 as part of a case involving embezzlement at Bank RBK. The house had previously been put up for auction, and a buyer was even found, but the auction results were cancelled for unknown reasons.
Meanwhile, Kursiv.media reports that in 2018, Bakhyt Ibragimov was extradited from Germany to Kazakhstan. Upon arrival, he was sentenced to 8 years in prison for embezzlement at Bank RBK. However, in 2024, he was released.
In March, he was found dead in Almaty. At the time, police said they had opened a criminal case on suspicion of incitement to suicide. In August, it emerged that the case had been closed due to the absence of a criminal offence. It was also revealed that Ibragimov died as a result of mechanical asphyxiation.
