The Ministry of Defence has reported that a platoon commander of military unit No. 25744 in Aktau, who exceeded his authority, will be dismissed from the Kazakh army.
"According to paragraph 2 of Article 26 of the law 'On Military Service and the Status of Servicemen', after the court verdict enters into legal force, the serviceman who committed the offence will be discharged from the Armed Forces on negative grounds", reports informburo.kz, citing the Ministry of Defence.
It will be recalled that earlier it was reported that in Aktau, a serviceman from military unit No. 25744 beat new recruits on the head with a stool and a truncheon. A criminal case was opened against him, but later dropped due to a reconciliation between the parties.
