Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva has stated the need to transform the UNT system in Kazakhstan. It is proposed to move to a single sitting of the test, to introduce a hybrid selection system for pedagogical universities incorporating oral exams, and to abandon conditional enrolment in preparatory programmes.
