In Shymkent, long queues have formed at car gas filling stations (CNG stations) due to a shortage of liquefied gas. Residents have been unable to refuel their cars without waiting for hours for several days.

In Atyrau, the former head of the city police department, Baktybek Isayev, has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a criminal case has been opened against him following an internal investigation. The other individuals involved in the case — Alisher Nurshayev and Salamat Kaliyev — remain at liberty, and no preventive measure has been selected for them. The investigation is ongoing, and details are not being disclosed.

Deputy Irina Smirnova has sent a request to the General Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Emergency Situations regarding the lack of systematic assembly points for the population during earthquakes in Almaty. The Prosecutor's Office of the Turkestan Region has uncovered instances of the illegal receipt of compulsory social health insurance funds and the fictitious provision of medical services. Kaspersky Lab's report showed that in 2025, the highest number of high-criticality cyber attacks targeted the public sector, industry, and IT companies. The IT sector entered the top three most attacked industries, surpassing finance. The prosecutor's office of the Zhetisu region revealed that the management company "Khorgos International Centre for Border Cooperation" had illegally charged 19 investors VAT for two years when calculating water supply tariffs, despite the tax exemptions of the SEZ. The violations have been rectified, 1 million tenge has been returned to the investors, and those responsible have been held accountable.
