Tax revenues into local budgets of Kazakhstan as of 1 June 2026 amounted to 3.7 trillion tenge. Compared with the same date in 2025, their volume decreased by 25.6 billion tenge, with an increase in revenues recorded in 10 out of 20 regions, while a decrease was noted in the remainder.

In Kazakhstan, a system for labelling official calls has been introduced, which will allow subscribers to distinguish calls from banks, companies and other organisations from potentially fraudulent ones. New requirements for telecom operators have also been adopted, along with additional measures to protect users of telecommunications services.

In the Kostanay region, an investigation into a criminal case concerning illegal subsoil use and unauthorised extraction of minerals has been completed. According to the investigation, industrial extraction of river sand was carried out outside the subsoil plot provided by the state. The criminal case has been sent to court.

On 20 July 2026, two forest fires were recorded in blocks 55 and 65 of the Suburban Forestry of the Semipalatinsk branch of the state forest nature reserve 'Semey Ormany'. According to preliminary data, the area of each source is approximately 2 hectares, and the cause of the fire could have been a lightning strike.

Previously, he worked as a chief specialist at the regional akimat for agriculture and state agro-industrial programmes. The National Bureau of Statistics has published producer price indices for June 2026. In industry, prices rose by 17.2% year-on-year, in agriculture by 16.6%, in wholesale trade by 13.8%, and in construction by 9.2%. The main contributors to the increase were oil extraction and metallurgy.

The system was accepted into commercial operation by an act dated 6 February 2025; the subject of acceptance was the correctness of the software code, not the accuracy of forecasts.
