A 23-year-old man in Semey was arrested for five days after two shots from a signal pistol near a restaurant.
HOW THE INCIDENT HAPPENED
According to the Police Department (PD) of the Abai Region, the man was near a restaurant in a state of alcoholic intoxication when he took out a signal pistol and fired twice into the air.
Police identified him. He turned out to be a 23-year-old resident of Semey, Nikita Bronin.
FOR WHAT VIOLATIONS THE MAN WAS PUNISHED
Administrative materials were drawn up against the man on three counts: appearing in a public place in a state of alcoholic intoxication, petty hooliganism and disturbing the peace.
Following the consideration of the case, the court imposed five days of administrative arrest on him.
WHAT THE POLICE REPORTED
The PD of the Abai Region reminded that a breach of public order, including with the use of a weapon or objects resembling one, entails liability as provided for by law.
CONTEXT
Earlier, in the courtyard of one of the residential buildings in Astana, a conflict occurred involving a group of young people in a state of alcoholic intoxication. According to police, one of the residents fired a warning shot into the air from a gas pistol.
After the incident, all participants in the conflict were detained and taken to the police.
