In the East Kazakhstan Region (EKR) unused agricultural land with a total area of 2,092.6 hectares has been returned to the state. The cadastral value of the plots amounted to 17.7 million tenge.
WHAT VIOLATIONS THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE IDENTIFIED
The Prosecutor's Office of the Katon-Karagay District of the EKR conducted an analysis of compliance with land legislation and identified instances of inefficient use of agricultural land.
It was established that lessees of plots intended for running a peasant or farming enterprise had not used the land for its intended purpose for a year.
WHICH LANDS WERE RETURNED TO THE STATE
Under a prosecutorial supervision order, land plots with a total area of 2,092.6 hectares were returned to the state. The cadastral value of the returned property amounted to 17.7 million tenge.
The prosecutor's office noted that issues of targeted use of land resources are under special control of the supervisory authorities.
