At the end of last year, JSC «Kazakhtelecom» entered into advertising agreements worth nearly half a billion tenge.
According to «Nege.Aqsha», the national operator signed a contract with «ROI Group» for 179.2 million tenge, and with a consortium that includes the companies «QAMALLADIN MEDIA» and «DOSTYK CAPITAL» for 280 million tenge.

It is reported that the money was spent on advertising, information and PR materials aimed at promoting the positive reputation of «Kazakhtelecom». At the same time, the details of the contracts were kept secret under the pretext of protecting commercial confidentiality.
For their part, journalists questioned whether the national telecom operator would change its approach to advertising after the appointment of the new chairman of the board, Bagdat Musin.
For context, it was previously reported that Kuanyshbek Yesekeev, who had headed JSC «Kazakhtelecom» since 2010, had left his post. He was replaced by former digitalisation minister Bagdat Musin.
