The stadium, funded by recovered assets, is planned to be built in Astana.

The construction of the Kazhymukan Munaitpasov Stadium in Astana has been included in the list of projects financed by the Special State Fund.

According to the document published on the website of the Ministry of Finance, more than 17.3 billion tenge has been allocated for the construction of the stadium.

Incidentally, in November last year, the media reported that over 15 billion tenge was planned to be spent on the construction of the Munaitpasov Stadium. It was reported then that the tender was won by BiGlobal LLP.
 
To recall, in October 2024, it was reported that about 3 billion tenge was planned to be allocated from the Special State Fund for the construction of a sports complex in the village of Zerenda, Akmola Region, and a music school in the village of Temirlan, Turkestan Region. 

At the same time, Kazakhstan began implementing social projects using the 12 billion tenge returned to the state. One such project is the construction of a centre for modern culture in Almaty.

In November, it was reported that the government planned to allocate 7.8 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of a kindergarten for children with special needs in Aktobe.

Later, more than 28 billion tenge was allocated from this fund for the completion of the construction of a multi-specialty hospital complex in Ridder.

In December, the government decided to allocate over 2 billion tenge from it for the construction of a kindergarten with 280 places in Petropavlovsk.

In January this year, it was reported that, using returned assets, it was planned to build a sports complex in the village of Zhalagash, Kegen District, Almaty Region, costing 1.1 billion tenge.

In early February, the government allocated more than 1.4 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of a school in the city of Karazhal, Ulytau Region.

Later, it became known that the government had allocated 1.4 billion tenge from returned assets for the construction of a school in the village of Koksay, Kerbulak District, Zhetysu Region. 

It was also reported that 2.6 billion tenge was allocated from the fund for the construction of a Centre for the Provision of Special Social Services in Semey.
