Shareholders of KazMunayGas have started receiving dividend payments

On 24 June, dividend payments to shareholders of NC "KazMunayGas" JSC (KMG) for 2023 began. 

According to Ratel.kz, the dividend per ordinary share will be 491.71 tenge. It is reported that 610,119,493 ordinary shares of the JSC are in circulation. The total payout will amount to more than 300 billion tenge. Of this amount: 

  • 202.26 billion tenge will go to the Samruk-Kazyna Fund, which owns 67.42% of the shares; 
  • 60 billion tenge - to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (20%); 
  • 28.74 billion tenge - to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan (9.58%); 
  • 9 billion tenge - to minority shareholders (3%). 

Earlier, Russian company Lukoil paid KMG $200 million for the purchase of a 50% stake in Kalamkas-Khazar Operating LLP. The partnership is engaged in hydrocarbon extraction at the "Auezov", "Kalamkas-sea" and "Khazar" sites in the Caspian Sea.
