In the West Kazakhstan Region, a tractor damaged an underground polyethylene gas pipeline, leaving a number of villages and gardening associations without gas supply.
According to the publication "Ak Zhaik", the emergency team workers fixed the leak.
It is reported that the accident left 599 consumers without gas:
- the village of Zhaik – 235 consumers;
- the village of Zhelaevo – 179 consumers;
- the gardening association "Khutorok" – 112 consumers;
- the gardening association "Druzhba" – 73 consumers.
It has become known that the gas pipeline is on the balance sheet of JSC "QAZAQGAZ AIMAQ". Police officers were called to the scene to establish the circumstances of the incident.
"At present, repair and restoration work has been completed, the gas pipeline has been restored, and gas is being re-supplied", the statement says.
