Raimbek Batalov has commented on reports of his possible departure from the post of chairman of the presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs «Atameken». He stated that he considers a three-year term sufficient. The issue will be considered at the NCE congress.
WHAT HAPPENED
In an interview published in the Telegram channel «Atameken Business - News of Kazakhstan», Batalov said that he had served as chairman of the presidium for three years and considers such a term sufficient.
He noted that on Friday a congress of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs «Atameken» will be held, at which the issue of the rotation of leadership will be considered and a corresponding decision will be made.

As «Exclusive» recalled, in the autumn of last year, anonymous Telegram channels reported that Batalov's departure would not come as a surprise and that such a development had long been predicted. However, at the time, the press service of the NCE «Atameken» denied this information, calling it unreliable.
Batalov became head of the NCE «Atameken» in February 2022. He replaced Abylai Myrzakhmetov in this post, who had served in his position for nine years, and in 2024 was sentenced to five years in prison for fraud.
