£19.3 million for a flat in London: another property of Vladimir Kim's daughter

Another daughter of one of Kazakhstan's wealthiest entrepreneurs, Vladimir Kim, Kristina, owns property in London's Mayfair district worth £19.3 million (11 billion tenge).

According to the Telegram channel “Access to the Sea”, 21-year-old Kristina Kim purchased the luxury apartment in May 2022. The approximately 500 m² space includes three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen-diner, and four bathrooms.

In addition to the apartments themselves, residents of the complex have access to a swimming pool, wine cellar, fitness centre, cinema, spa, beautician services, library, and round-the-clock security.

Incidentally, Kristina's older sister, Kamilla Kim, previously purchased a six-storey building nearby for £10 million (around 5.6 billion tenge). This property cost Kamilla Kim much less than her two apartments in London, which she received for her 18th birthday. The two properties in the “The Knightsbridge Apartments” residence, with a total area of around 300 m², cost £14 million (around 7.8 billion tenge)

Furthermore, it has emerged that she owns an apartment in the “One Hyde Park” residence — in what estate agents consider the most expensive building in the world in terms of price per square metre. The apartment was purchased in 2017 for £27.5 million (around 15.3 billion tenge).

It is believed that Vladimir Kim is forced to register property in the names of close relatives because one of his companies — the gold mining GDK “Baimskaya”, operating in Russia — was hit by US sanctions.

It is noted that the total value of Vladimir Kim's daughters' London property has reached £90 million (around 51 billion tenge). As calculated by “Access to the Sea”, this is nearly 10 billion tenge more than all the companies of billionaire Kim and his partners spent on aid to those affected by the floods in Kazakhstan.
