In the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, the heads of the central office and regional police departments have been simultaneously replaced. The personnel decisions affected the country's largest city and several regions, indicating a large-scale rotation of the management tier of law enforcement agencies.
PLANNED APPOINTMENTS IN THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS LEADERSHIP
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has undergone a planned personnel rotation. The corresponding appointments were made by orders of the Minister of Internal Affairs and coordinated with the Presidential Administration. This is reported by a number of media outlets citing the department's press service.
The rotation covered both the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and key regional police departments, including Almaty, Turkestan, Aktobe, Atyrau, North Kazakhstan regions, and the Ulytau region.
WHO RECEIVED NEW POSITIONS
Police Major General Aidos Rysbayev, who previously headed the transport police department, has been appointed as the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Office. His predecessor, Onal Bekiyev, has been transferred to the position of Head of the Police Department of the Atyrau region.
Police Major General Murat Kabdenov, who previously led the police of the Turkestan region, has become the Chairman of the Administrative Police Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
New heads have been appointed in regional directorates. In particular, Aidyn Kabduldinov has taken charge of the Almaty city police department, Arystangani Zapparov has been appointed head of the Turkestan region police, and Abai Zhusupov has been transferred to the post of head of the North Kazakhstan region police.
The leadership of the Aktobe region police has been assigned to Kairken Aliyev, and Nurkhat Urazbayev has headed the police department of the Ulytau region.
