12 billion tenge in compensation will be received by business owners after the flood

The government of Kazakhstan announced that following the floods, 12 billion tenge was allocated from the government reserve to compensate businesses for property losses. Regional commissions are accepting applications from representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. 

According to ORDA, the government noted that regional commissions have already reviewed and approved 178 applications totalling 1.5 billion tenge

According to estimates from regional akimats, around 746 small and medium-sized businesses have been affected in the country. 

It is reported that money from the government reserve will be allocated for the Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, and North Kazakhstan regions

It is worth recalling that earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev presented a table listing the names of entrepreneurs and the amounts of financial assistance to regions affected by the floods.
