Prosecutors in the Zhetysu region have brought administrative charges against the head of the Housing and Public Utilities Department of the Karatal District Akimat for violations in public procurement.
According to the press service of the department, the head of the department unreasonably refused to sign a contract with the winner of a tender for the construction of water supply networks worth over 100 million tenge.
In another case, the Housing and Public Utilities Department of the same district accepted goods that did not meet technical requirements.
Following a prosecutor's supervision order, the head of the department was fined 130 MCI (511,160 tenge).
At the same time, other members of the tender commission were also subjected to disciplinary action: two managers and four specialists were issued warnings of incomplete professional compliance.
It will be recalled that in April, the prosecutor's office of the Akzhaik district of the West Kazakhstan region annulled a public procurement for the repair of a leisure centre building worth 5.3 million tenge due to various violations.
