According to the press service of the Akmola region courts, in 2022, the housing and communal services department and the LLP entered into a contract for the repair of boiler houses.

Later, the businessman drew up fictitious certificates of completed work for the installation of three heating boilers, while carrying out no work at all. Despite this, the head of the housing and communal services department signed the certificates and invoices for payment.

The court sentenced each to 3 years and 6 months of restriction of liberty with probation supervision. Additionally, the head of the department was banned from holding positions in the civil service, and the director of the LLP was banned from holding managerial and financially responsible positions.

Recall that previously in the Akmola region, a sentence was handed down to a specialist from the accounts department of the housing and communal services department of Stepnogorsk and her accomplice. They were found guilty of embezzling 43 million tenge.
