The activity of the "Akhlak" nursery school branch in Almaty, where a teacher recently choked a 4-year-old child, has been temporarily suspended. The suspect and the head of the institution have been dismissed, and the director has been fined.
This was reported by one of the founders of the "Akhlak" nursery school chain, Amina Yusupbayeva. According to her, the management is ready to compensate for the harm caused to the child.
As Yusupbayeva stated, all employees of the institution were aware that every action was being recorded by the video surveillance system.
"And despite this, unfortunately, the human factor came into play and this incident occurred", the statement reads.
For context, a video from the private Almaty "Akhlak" nursery school had earlier surfaced online, showing a teacher choking a 4-year-old child. Two other staff members were also present in the room at the time. The abuse came to light after the child complained to their parents of being hit at the nursery school.
The press service of the Almaty Police Department stated that law enforcement officers have opened a criminal case regarding the incident.
