The Prosecutor's Office of Pavlodar Region has established that individuals who had committed serious crimes and those with mental illnesses were working in educational organisations in Zhelezinsky District.
According to the press service of the department, a person convicted of murder had been working in one of the region's kindergartens for about 5 years. In other educational institutions, employees who had been prosecuted for assault and battery were identified.
As a result, the prosecutor's office of Zhelezinsky District ordered the dismissal of the aforementioned individuals. Their managers were held disciplinarily accountable.
Earlier, prosecutors of Zhetysu Region identified that three security guards with criminal records were working in the region's schools. For instance, one of them had previously been sentenced to 11 years in prison for the possession of narcotic drugs on an especially large scale.
Furthermore, in one of the children's camps in the city of Tekeli, the prosecutor's office identified a medical worker who is registered with a diagnosis of "Paranoid Schizophrenia".
It was also reported that a man who had previously been criminally prosecuted for "procuring" had gained employment at a school in Kyzylorda. In another case, the regional prosecutor's office identified a teacher who was registered with a psychiatrist.
