The owner of the company "Qazaq Stroy" Nurlan Artykbayev has become an investor in the football club "Aktobe".
"An agreement has been reached, the football club is coming under the patronage of Nurlan Artykbayev," a source told Forbes.kz.
It is noted that organisational issues and the amount of investment required for the club's development will be discussed in January 2026. No information has yet been reported about possible changes to the squad or the construction of a football boarding school.
Aktobe fans are actively discussing future changes at the club, speculating about player sales and purchases, though there is no official confirmation of these plans either.
In early November, the Akim of Aktobe Region Askhat Shakharov announced that a final decision on transferring the FC to private hands would be made by the end of the year, but the investor's name was not officially disclosed.
As has become known, Nurlan Artykbayev is the founder and majority owner of "Qazaq Stroy," a company specialising in the construction of residential complexes in Almaty and Astana.
In May, he entered the Forbes Kazakhstan ranking for the first time, taking 44th place among the 75 richest businessmen in the country with an estimated wealth of $228 million (118.7 billion tenge). Qazaq Stroy also debuted in the ranking of the 75 largest companies in Kazakhstan, taking 14th place with revenue of 313.9 billion tenge and a net profit of 45.7 billion tenge.
For reference, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov previously reported that the process of privatising football clubs and their infrastructure is in an active phase.
It was noted that JSC "Freedom Finance" plans to build a stadium and football academy for FC "Shakhter".
JSC "Kaspi Group" intends to acquire FC "Zhenis" and develop football infrastructure in Astana. Furthermore, the ministry is in negotiations with investors regarding the clubs "Taraz", "Yelimay" and "Irtysh".
At the end of October, it became known that FC "Kaisar" had been bought by entrepreneur Islamgali Kozbakov, owner of the companies "TAU Group LTD", "Alem Stroy" and a concrete plant.
In November, an agreement was signed in Petropavlovsk on the transfer of the sports brand, infrastructure and assets of FC "Kyzyl-Zhar" to one of the co-owners of JSC "Central Asian Electric Power Corporation", Sergey Kan.
