Football club "Kaisar" has been transferred to a private owner. This was announced by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during a working trip to the Kyzylorda region. The head of state visited the new Central Stadium and met with the team.

According to the press service of Akorda, "Kaisar" has become one of the first Kazakhstani clubs to fully transfer into private ownership.

"In the future, a football academy is planned to be built. I believe the club has a very good future. I wish you all success," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Meanwhile, the Telegram channel "Uncle Vanya" reports that the club was bought by entrepreneur Islamgali Kozbakov, owner of the companies "TAU Group LTD", "Alem Stroy", and a concrete plant.

It is reported that the new investor intends to allocate around 12 billion tenge for the development of a youth academy and infrastructure.

According to available information, in the current season the regional department of physical culture and sports allocated 1.918 billion tenge to the club.

"Kaisar" was the only Premier League team to play without foreign players, finishing 11th out of 14, thus retaining its place in the top division. Before privatisation, the club's founder was the regional sports department.

It will be recalled that earlier, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov announced that the process of privatising football clubs and their infrastructure is in an active phase.

It was noted that JSC "Central Asian Fuel and Energy Company" is considering the possibility of acquiring FC "Kyzyl-Zhar". JSC "Freedom Finance" plans to build a stadium and a football academy for FC "Shakhter".

JSC "Kaspi Group" intends to acquire FC "Zhenis" and develop football infrastructure in Astana. Furthermore, the ministry is negotiating with investors regarding the clubs "Taraz", "Yelimay" and "Irtysh".

Incidentally, in January last year it was reported that FC "Kaisar" was planned to be transferred to trust management with a subsequent buyout over 5 years. The starting price was 1.6 billion tenge
