In Petropavlovsk, an agreement has been signed to transfer the sports brand, infrastructure, and assets of the football club "Kyzyl-Zhar" to a private investor. The document formalises the club's sporting succession and regulates the transfer of rights and obligations related to the team's participation in competitions under the auspices of the KFF, FIFA, and UEFA.

According to the press service of the club, the agreement was implemented as part of the Head of State's directive on the privatisation of professional football clubs. The investor for FC "Kyzyl-Zhar" is one of the co-owners of JSC "Central Asian Electric Power Corporation" (CAEPC) and a business partner of Alexander KlebanovSergey Kan.

"This is an important step for the development of the club and North Kazakhstan football as a whole. Private management will create new opportunities for growth, attracting investment, and developing the region's football infrastructure," Kan noted.

It is expected that privatisation will strengthen the club's sporting performance, optimise its financial model, and improve management efficiency.

Earlier, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov reported that the process of privatising football clubs and their infrastructure is in an active phase.

It was noted that JSC "Freedom Finance" plans to build a stadium and a football academy for FC "Shakhtyor".

JSC "Kaspi Group" intends to acquire FC "Zhenis" and develop football infrastructure in Astana. In addition, the ministry is negotiating with investors regarding the clubs "Taraz", "Yelimay", and "Irtysh".

At the end of October, it became known that FC "Kaisar" has been bought out by entrepreneur Islamgali Kozbakov, the owner of "TAU Group LTD", "Alem Stroy", and a concrete plant.
