The private company "Climate Action Company Limited" has become state property of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This occurred at the initiative of its owners. Notably, the company deals with climate change and green energy issues.
"Accept the proposal of the legal entity association 'National Union for Sustainable Development ESG' to transfer a 100% stake in the private company 'Climate Action Company Limited' to the republican state property", says the government resolution.
The resolution states that the State Property and Privatisation Committee of the Ministry of Finance should ensure the transfer of ownership and use rights of the state stakes in the private company to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"The document was developed to implement measures for setting up a project office for Central Asian countries on climate issues as part of fulfilling the instructions following the participation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State – founders of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea", says the report.
It has become known that the company's current director is Ramazan Nuralin, and its founder is the legal entity association "National Union for Sustainable Development ESG". The union, in turn, is led by a certain Adalat Allahverdiyev.
