At a briefing in the government, the chairman of the board of JSC "NC "KazAvtoZhol" Darkhan Imanashev spoke about the company's measures to identify and suppress corrupt practices.

According to MIA "Kazinform", Imanashev reported that an internal analysis identified three key areas where corruption risks may exist: selecting a contractor company, implementing projects, and accepting completed facilities.

It emerged that since last year, 48 technical supervision experts have been subjected to disciplinary action. They were fined, removed from their sites, and materials concerning some of them were forwarded to the relevant authorities.

85 lawsuits were filed against contractor companies with the aim of placing them on a 'blacklist'. Additionally, 124 employees of the enterprise faced various disciplinary measures. Around 10 people were dismissed, including five employees for negative reasons.

It should be recalled that in April last year, in Pavlodar, the director and chief specialist of the "KazAvtoZhol" branch were convicted. They were found guilty of receiving a bribe from a contractor organisation in the amount of 4 million tenge.
