The prosecutor's office of the Birzhan sal district in the Akmola region prevented illegal purchases amounting to over 30 million tenge.
"An analysis by the prosecutor's office of the Birzhan sal district established facts of violations of the law, expressed in the announcement of a tender for state procurement of engineering services for a building not owned by the district's municipal authority", the department's press service reported.
Having studied the tender documentation for the state procurement, the prosecutor's office found that the local executive body had illegally announced a tender for 33 million tenge for the development of design and estimate documentation for the reconstruction of a building not owned by the municipal authority.
It is reported that, based on the supervisory order of the district prosecutor's office, the tender was cancelled.
