The ex-wife of the brother of the former akim of Shymkent accuses him of evicting his own children

The ex-wife of Marat Aitenov (the older brother of former Shymkent head Murat Aitenov), Dana Ateshova, who accused him of violence, has said he is evicting her and her three children from their home.

According to the Telegram channel "Path to the Truth", the woman claims her ex-husband promised to leave the house to the children, but set certain conditions.

"The Supreme Court must make a fair decision. Because the entire process regarding child maintenance was decided fairly. Aitenov told me he would leave his four-bedroom house to his children, but set a condition. He says he will register the house in our name, but I will have to give him other property. I must delete everything I have written and apologise to Marat. I have never lied. If I lie, I could be sued for defamation. But he is going to forcefully evict me from the house.", she said.

At the same time, Ateshova revealed that this house is not the only property owned by Marat Aitenov.

"There is a house with an area of 600 square metres in a gated community. I have no right to that house. Leave this house to the children, they are used to it, at least leave this house.", says Ateshova.

In April last year, she even staged a solo picket outside the Supreme Court in an effort to get the case reviewed, specifically to secure what she believed to be a fairer amount of child maintenance.

The woman claimed that her ex-husband had deliberately reduced his salary to avoid supporting his own children. It also emerged at the time that Dana Ateshova and her three children were required to vacate the house they were living in.

This was explained by the fact that when Marat Aitenov purchased the property, he had it registered in his father's name. The father, in turn, gifted this house to a certain Arsen Musalimov, who is allegedly connected to Marat Aitenov.

Dana Ateshova also stated that Aitenov, who was the akim of Shymkent at the time, was unable to influence his brother.

"How can he and other officials work for the good of citizens if they aren't prepared to help their own nieces and nephews?" - Ateshova declared.
