The head of the republican medical institution is suspected of corruption.

The head of the Republican Scientific Centre of Dermatology and his deputy are suspected of corruption.

"The Anti-Corruption Service for the city of Almaty is conducting a pre-trial investigation into the head of the Kazakh Scientific Centre of Dermatology and Infectious Diseases and his deputy", the press service of Antikor reported.

It has become known that this concerns the receipt of a bribe in the amount of 5 million tenge from the head of the International Institute of Postgraduate Education. The bribe was intended for concluding a contract for the provision of services for the professional development of medical workers. 

By court order, the head of the Centre has been taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
