As a reminder, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov previously reported that the privatisation process for football clubs and their infrastructure is in an active phase.

Following this, on 13 November 2025, Mikhail Lomtadze became the owner of FC Zhenis and announced the creation of a free world-class children's football academy based at the club in Astana.

Later, it was reported that the owner of Qazaq Stroy, Nurlan Artykbaev, became an investor in FC Aktobe.

Then, a company from the Freedom Holding Corp. group of entrepreneur Timur Turlov purchased the Karaganda FC Shakhter at auction.

At the end of 2025, FC Astana began to be prepared for privatisation — a private investor has already been found, but their name is not being disclosed until all procedures are completed.
