In Kyzylorda, the head of the education department was dismissed for abuse of official powers. According to the city prosecutor's office press service, the woman illegally hired teachers without a competition from 2022 to 2023.
At the same time, prosecutors revealed that the deputy head of the Kyzylorda department of housing and communal services, passenger transport and roads authorised the payment of 27 million tenge for uncompleted work on installing 40 pedestrian projectors.
"Following the review of supervisory acts, the head of the education department was relieved of his post, and the deputy head of the department was subjected to disciplinary action in the form of a 'warning of incomplete official compliance'.", the statement reads.
Recall, earlier it became known that Manas Kosherbayev, who had not even spent a month in the position of head of the Baiganin District House of Culture in Aktobe Region, was dismissed again.
The official gained notoriety thanks to a video in which, as director of the House of Culture for the Visually Impaired in Aktobe, he committed an act of vandalism in the Mangystau Gorge of Ybykty Sai.
