In Almaty, the deputy general director of LLP «Almaty Genplan» S. Omiraliuly has been sentenced.
According to the press service of Anticor, he was found guilty of fraud and inciting an entrepreneur to bribe officials of the city land relations department. The bribe of 9.6 million tenge was allegedly intended for changing the designated use of a land plot.
The court sentenced him to 3 years and 6 months of imprisonment with a lifelong ban on holding positions in the civil service and in quasi-public sector entities.
It is worth recalling that in January of this year, the Almaty Urban Planning Control Department updated the list of residential complexes not recommended for purchase. This list includes 45 residential complexes in Almaty.
