An unscheduled inspection of the construction company «Saba Group» will be carried out in Almaty following a controversial video.
According to the media, a video previously circulated online showing that the ground had collapsed around the foundation of a house in the «Duman» microdistrict, and that the edge of the building was being propped up by an object resembling an iron column.
It later emerged that the iron support had been ‘built into’ the house by the company ‘Saba Group’.
“The Almaty Urban Planning Control Department is registering an unscheduled inspection of the contractor organisation regarding compliance with building regulations,” reported the press service of the Almaty Akimat.
The construction company did not comment on the news to journalists, stating that all information about this incident would be released later.
