In Atyrau, the implementation of the "100 Courtyards" project has led to some curious situations: residents discovered 54 benches lined up in a row in one courtyard, and dozens of road signs on a single street. This is reported by "Channel 31".

On Beibitshilik Street, all 54 benches were installed in one courtyard along the footpath. According to local residents, most of them remain empty, while there are no benches at all in other courtyards.

According to the acting head of the Housing and Public Utilities Department, Yerbol Aitkaliyev, each of the 100 courtyards receives improvements worth 3 million tenge. The akimat explained: the number of benches is determined by population density and was approved in the project. When asked about the linear arrangement, officials replied: "there were no other places."

A similar situation occurred in Yerkinkala. According to the Telegram channel "Halyqstan", dozens of road signs were installed on one street there. Local residents note a clear discrepancy: there are more signs than pedestrians. The akim of Atyrau, Shakir Keykin, stated that everything was agreed upon and installed based on the results of expert assessments.

Residents consider this kind of improvement an irrational use of budget funds. They propose distributing the fixtures evenly among all courtyards, so as not to turn certain parts of the city into oddities.

Community activists are calling for a thorough audit of improvement projects and a genuine consideration of residents' needs. This is especially pertinent given President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's call for saving budget funds and using them only to address pressing issues.
